Sweeping all committee reports pointing to the corrupt;l under carpet  by mobocracy; not giving sanctions to investigate the corrupt and take action till SC raps; eye wash GoM’s or EGoM’s  recommendations; with an intention; not to implement them etc., are the causes; eroding the image of India? PM should not allow any one to call India as a banana republic and Indians as mango people?  If he refuses to take action on such comments; he should know the reaction of the world communities? It is a direct comment on his abilities to handle the affairs of India? PM is left with two options only? Act fast and accept for SIT’s to investigate serious corruption charges against mighty in high places or live and die with the image given by media all over the world and people of India to him? CHOICE IS HIS?

PMs speech: ” The mindless atmosphere of negativity and pessimism …….” http://pmindia.nic.in/speech-details.php?nodeid=1233

Awake India: Accountability at all levels makes a nation prosperous and safe.

A million dollar question; believe your PM 0.5% is more than 99.5%?

A million dollar question; believe your PM 0.5% is more than 99.5%?

We Indians are very fortunate/unfortunate to have a PM who is having a keen vision to observe the loss caused by ants/ability to turn a blind eye to devastation caused by elephants?

PM should explain the nation why he is concentrating all his intellectual capabilities on 0.5% percent revenue and not paying any attention to 99.5%?

He wants people to pay more for essential petroleum products (less than 5% of GDP PA) to reduce deficit finance and turn a blind eye to rampant loot/corruption which has reached mind-boggling proportions (40-50 % GDP PA)? The amount of estimated loot lying out side the country in the form of foreign assets is more than 10 – 15 times GDP? It means that the amount wanted to be raised by way of increased cost of petroleum products is less than 0.5% of the loot laying out side? Read https://sofjustice.wordpress.com/2012/05/25/white-vs-black-economy-ills-of-black-economy/

It is strange that our PM not told the country; the efforts the government is taking to plug the loss to exchequer due to loot and corruption (white paper on black money by our Ex FM Pranab Mukherjee and present President  and wanted people to understand the compulsions of the government to tax people as money doesn’t grow on trees?

He failed to understand the increase he proposed contributes to 20-30% present of a common man’s income?

Instead of recovering the loot and using it; for the benefit of the nation he justifies FDI in retail (all survey reports all over the world indicate big-malls in multi-product retail in consumer products have done more harm than good to economy) Global research confirmed; in agriculture small are more efficient than large ones and FDI destroyed more employment than it created? http://newindianexpress.com/opinion/article666721.ece

He wants to compensate the loot by FDI in retail as government is not willing to take any steps to recover the loot even after SC directions? Read Black money inaction is betrayal http://barmaidtoemperess.wordpress.com/2012/09/09/black-money-inaction-is-betrayal-ram-jethmalani/

It is a strange situation; instead of making efforts to recover the loot; our government is opening opportunities to looters to invest it; in the form of FDI in retail so that they can plunder the economy; become owners of  the country and reduce every one to the status bound labor? Read Sonia EICo.: https://sofjustice.wordpress.com/2012/07/27/is-east-india-company-in-remaking/

We wish our PM understands; what he is asking people to understand? He told people that money will not grow on trees; we hope PM understood what he wants; less educated than him to understand?

The revenue (money) has to be generated by efforts and it has to be used for the benefit of all?

We should look into the sources of revenue of government?

  1. Commercial exploitation of Natural resources like water (for irrigation; industrial use and generation of electricity etc.
  2. Mineral resources like, sand, granite, iron ore, coal etc.,
  3. Exploitation of oil reserves; utilization of solar energy; nuclear energy etc., and by selling them.
  4. Selling of natural resources like spectrum etc.,
  5. Collection of duties (custom) on goods/machineries imported.
  6. Collection of taxes from manufactures (excise duty).
  7. Collection of taxes from traders (sales tax)
  8. Profits earned from public sector enterprises like, steel, aluminum, railways, ordinance factories etc.
  9. Borrowing money for starting commercial activities or allowing investment by foreigners (FDI)
  10. Sundry revenue from other sources?

It is very surprising to note that our PM concentrated on revenue collection (TV speech on sep 21; 8 PM) and loss to oil companies due subsides on petroleum products, like, diesel, petrol, cooking gas, kerosene etc., only 0.5%) not a single word about loot and corruption (99.5%) loss of revenue?

He conveniently forgot to tell the people the present selling price of petroleum products; includes near 50% taxation, and reducing it to reasonable level of say 15% negates the subsidies he is talking about?

All he wants to convince people; is that; they have to bear the burden; otherwise government will be helpless to contain the deficit?

He never spoke about the revenue generated by other activities?

Most probably he wants people to understand the intentions of the government not to make any efforts to recover the loot and allow it unhindered and we people to accept; there in; lies the welfare of the people? Complex logic; incomprehensible; better ask any expert politician; only he can explain? View: http://www.facebook.com/mulakalachandrasekhar/posts/483998174957610

We don’t need a Phd. to understand the logic; it is ANTI PEOPLE?

PM owes an explanation to the nation about his compulsions to support the looters and the corrupt and help them to becomes de-facto owners of India through FDI in retail and punish common man so-cruelly by way of inflation; unemployment and heavy taxation? View: Sonia+PM’s reforms are poly 2 divert attention from scams and loot http://www.facebook.com/mulakalachandrasekhar/posts/391210700944043

What is the logic in taxing petroleum products to by 50% and then subsidizing them by a small percentage or may be to the tune of taxation?

PM should explain the nation why he is concentrating all his intellectual capabilities on 0.5% percent revenue and not paying any attention to 90.5%?

PM should roll back the price hike of petroleum products and take immediate steps as suggested by SC to recover the looted money through legal channels? Read: Black money inaction is a betrayal http://barmaidtoemperess.wordpress.com/2012/09/09/black-money-inaction-is-betrayal-ram-jethmalani/  Explain the nation why he wants it to be poor; when it can become prosperous by recovering the looted money slashed away?

He should not go ahead with FDI in retail?

PM please take appropriate steps to stop further loot and recover looted money immediately or resign to save the country which respected him so humbly? Expectations of the nation are not unreasonable? Popular demand of people: http://www.facebook.com/mulakalachandrasekhar/posts/349168845172579

MPS can’t question – CAG is to serve the country – sud PM resign?

CAG has not crossed the Lakshmanrekha. PM please resign to facilitate a through probe by SIT.

Don’t you think; An indomitable media pointed out the prerogative of CAG and the immense public good done by the tabling of the preceding report by CAG on allocation of  licences for 2G spectrum? Cancellation of  licences  by the Supreme Court  vindicated CAG’s concerns?

Three reports tabled on August 17 do not question any policy and are clearly focussed on the impropriety and irregularities in not implementing the relevant policies.

While quoting the Constitution in the early years, the then Vice President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan said in the Rajya Sabha that the officials of the CAG’s department have to serve the country and not just the government. Several statements by luminaries in the Lok Sabha and rulings by Speaker M Ananthasayanam Ayyangar have settled the issue as to whether honourable members of the House can or cannot question his conduct. They cannot, unless they bring a substantive motion against him.

A simple reading of the relevant para in CAG’s report would make it amply clear that he has considered in detail the entire set of advices given by the Law Ministry? The plea of building consensus is, of course, understandable in a parliamentary democracy, but not at such a huge cost to public interest?

The rampant irregularities committed by the screening committee between the first thought about competitive bidding and the final action, cited in CAG’s report and being exposed daily? –  Amitabh Mukhopadhyay, Sep 1, 2012 Read more at: http://www.deccanherald.com/content/275821/cag-has-not-crossed-lakshmanrekha.html

Ashok Chawla Committee punctures Manmohan Singh’s claims on coal allocation.

Relatively non-transparent system via the screening committee route’ – an observation echoed in the controversial CAG audit report?

Chawla Committee was not as optimistic, pointing to the fact that just 15 per cent of captive mines allotted till date are operational and even those are producing just 4 per cent of their possible peak coal output. “Only a limited number of blocks are in a position to come into production in the near future,” the panel concluded after scrutinising the status of blocks allotted in recent years.

Chawla panel doesn’t agree. “…There is a list of technical and economic criteria, which the committee is supposed to use to assess projects. However, the criteria are so broad that any decision can be justified,” the report pointed out. Officials who have attended these meetings admit political pressures are high. 3 SEP, 2012 http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/news-by-industry/indl-goods/svs/metals-mining/ashok-chawla-committee-punctures-manmohan-singhs-claims-on-coal-allocation/articleshow/16227832.cms

It was decided that 69 out of the 81 recommendations of the Chawla Committee, that had been accepted by the Group of Ministers (GoM) headed by Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee in October last year be accepted and other 12 would be examined further. The Chawla Committee had submitted its report in May 2011 and it was approved by the GoM on October 15, 2011. However, since then the report has been gathering dust in the corridors of power and there has been reluctance on part of the government to put the report in public domain.

Coal-gate – Economic reforms to economic deforms? September 03, 2012 Inexplicably PIPDIC was one of those to whom Naini Coal Block in Orissa was allotted by the Coal Ministry on 25th July 2007. PIPDIC was in turn sub-allotted to J R Power Gen (P) Limited. This is where things get murkier. Promoters of J R Power Gen (P) Limited in turn have already sold 51 per cent of their holdings to KSK Energy Ventures. According to some reliable sources 49 per cent balance too are on offer.

Well doesn’t all this resemble the 2G spectrum scam where real estate companies, which could not have otherwise qualified for spectrum, got spectrum in 2008 that too in 2001 prices and immediately diluted the promoters’ stake for a huge premium?
